Ms. Jacqueline Haynes

Florida State University has been woven into the fabric of my life for more than four decades. I proudly graduated from Florida State University in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in education, and what began as my educational journey has grown into a cherished family legacy. I later earned a master's degree in Guidance and Counseling, a master's degree in Educational Leadership, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Innovation and currently pursuing my doctorate. My husband, daughter, son, and numerous members of our extended family are all proud FSU graduates. We are dedicated Athletic Booster members who enjoy cheering on the Seminoles and supporting the university in every way we can. Serving on the Undergraduate Studies Council is a meaningful opportunity to give back to an institution that has shaped not only my life but also the lives of my family.

My professional career has been dedicated to advancing educational excellence and creating opportunities for students to thrive. During more than 40 years in public education, I served as a teacher, principal, district leader, and most recently as an Associate Superintendent, leading school improvement initiatives that supported thousands of students, teachers, principals, and school communities. Today, I am the founder and lead consultant of Auctus Summit Consulting, LLC, where I partner with K–12 school districts to develop educational leaders, strengthen instructional leadership, and support school turnaround efforts. As a published author of educational journal articles, I have also presented at numerous state and national educational conferences, sharing best practices in leadership development, instructional improvement, and school turnaround. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about developing leaders, building effective school systems, and ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education.

Beyond my professional work, I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, IncorporatedĀ® and enjoy mentoring aspiring educational leaders, traveling, and expressing my love of music through playing the flute. Whether I am supporting Florida State athletics, exploring new destinations with family and friends, or investing in the next generation of educators, I find great joy in building relationships and serving others. It is both an honor and a privilege to continue serving Florida State University and to help ensure that future generations of Seminoles have the same life-changing opportunities that my family and I have been blessed to experience.
